How to convert PowerPoint to DVD for playback on TV

Created a beautiful and interesting PowerPoint presentation in .ppt format, complete with sound and music, for your wedding ceremony or corporate marketing event. But alas, in an unlucky situation, the DVD or VCD player on Hi-Fi amplifier system cannot player PowerPoint slide out of the box, even with Pack and Go feature. Worse if the projection system or display panel won’t connect to your laptop VGA output port. In this case, you may want to convert the Office PowerPoint presentation in .ppt format to a video, recorded on CD or DVD disc or even on VHS tape which almost everyone can playback on any DVD player.Want to convert PowerPoint to DVD and play PowerPoint on TV? 1. Import files

Click "Add File" button or "Click here to add PPT files" button to import PPT files. Up to 12 files can be added at a time.

2. Output Options Click” Options” in the menu bar to get the following interface for output options settings:

Check the "Create Standard DVD" button, you can directly generate DVD disc.

After setting the output options, click” Advanced Settings”, you will get the following interface:

Click each title in the frame to let an interface pop-up. With this interface, users can set to ignore audios, set slide size, animation time, video quality, audio codec, DVD audio language code, and so on.

Terms (The explanation of some terms on the interface) Norm: NTSC and PAL/SECAM are two TV standards, select one that accords with your country'sstandard. If you are not sure which one it is, click to select your country or location.

Mode: The mode of DVD output. If” Create Standard DVD” was selected, the default mode is standard DVD. If” Create High Definition DVD” was selected, the default mode is720p (1280*720), and “1080p (1920x1080) would be available for choosing. Detailed settings about aspect, encode size and display size can be set by just a click on

Folder: working folder and output folder locations. Make sure that the two location directories are NOT specified the same, for all the files located in working folder will be removed automatically when the process completes.

PowerPoint: You can select to ignore all the audios in PowerPoint file as you like. In order to get better result, we suggest that you choose to ignore the audios in PowerPoint file that accompany with two or more animations when you would like your PowerPoint files played under manual mode.

Slide Size: Select slide size later you play on TV. Keep the scale of the slides and adjust the window when playing or adjust the slide size to the requested.

Video Layout: Select different video layout. If your PowerPoint file is full of different elements, "Safe size" will be a good choice.

Video Quality: Higher video quality or smaller output files size? It's up to you. You have there choices and it's recommended that you choose "High Quality" to get the best result.

Audio Codec: Two audio codecs are listed here. Choose one that your DVD player supports. If you are not sure which audio codec your DVD player supports, just choose "AC3" as recommended, for "AC3" is the standard DVD audio codec.

DVD: Set DVD audio language code,Customize your DVD menu with different focused styles you like: Marked (Default) or Framed.

Conversion: Check to mute the audio file while converting PowerPoint to DVD. If the same name of output file exists, you can either choose to rename or override it. Also you can check to upside down video.

3. Customize DVD Menu

Click” Menu”, you can get the following interface, which is the preview of your DVD menu. This interface is only applied to “Create DVD or HD-DVD” file.

Click” Menu”, you can select the main menu for previewing or for editing Click” Title”, you can select the title menu for previewing or for editing You can choose one dvd menu template from the drop-down list, both for main menu and title menu, more than 15 kinds built-in delicate templates are available.

If you want to design dvd menu yourself, just click “DVD Menu Creator” to customize main menu and title menu respectably.

4. Add Music and Record Voice

Click” Music”, you can get the following interface to add audio in auto mode.

Click to add audio file, or Click to record narration. Once the narration was completed, save it. Select the audio and click to test the effect. If you do not satisfy with the audio you added, select the audio and remove it by clicking . Note: Only allow to add one audio file.

Click” Manual Mode” to add audio in manual mode, all the operations are the same with that in auto mode.

5. Burn PPT to DVD

Click “Burn” to enter the following interface.

After all the settings completed, click to enjoy the super high conversion.

Terms on this interface

Burn to Disc: Be sure that you have a DVD burner available on your computer and insert a writeable DVD Disc. Volume Label: Rename the volume label whatever you like. Create DVD image file: If check “Create DVD image file”, next time you can directly burn the image file to DVD by using a third-part burn program. ISO File: You can change the directory for saving ISO File.
