One way to spruce up your presentations is to add animated gifs. This is new to PowerPoint 2000. Animated gifs did not work in previous versions. Adding this type of file is really no different than adding an image. You will not see the animation while in the regular view. You have to be in the slide show to see them. Go to Insert on the menu bar and choose clipart if you want to find animated gifs that are in the Clip Gallery. They are listed under the motion tab. You can also choose from file and find your own animated gif. Get into the slide show view and you can see what the animation will look like.
