How to make Glassy Effect

TUTORIAL BY EXCITE TEMPLATE

1. Open a new canvas of 800 x 600 in photoshop (Ctrl+N)

2. Click on shape tool , Select any shape and draw a rectangle name it shape 1...i choose rectangular.

3. Fill the shape 1 with gradient by using  blending option > gradient overlay.

4. Copy the shape 1 layer and rename to shape 2 (ctrl+j)

5. Click Edit > Transform (ctrl+t) shape 2 layer then right click on the shape 2 select vertical.

6. Click on layer mask from the layer panel.

7. Select a gradient of black and white from the tools.

8. Drag the gradient on the shape 2 and make the opacity 50%

Here you are with your glassy effect.
